My Best Job
This is a really tricky one and I have decided on two. Both these jobs were for the same company (Boden). Boden shoots are always a lot of fun as they are often on location!
I have decided to do two separate posts - one for each job.
The first shoot I did for Boden was when I was eight. I modeled for Mini Boden and it was probably the first 'on location' shoot I've ever done. And it was in France. I remember my mum telling me that I was going to France with her to do a job and I was so excited!
We took the plane from the airport and met with all the other models and their mums in France. We traveled to the little hotel that we were staying in and we went down to the beach. It was on this job I met Lily - one of my close friends who even now I am still in touch with!
We took the taxi the next morning to a huge house with a massive garden where we spent the day shooting. Well, most of the day didn't really feel like we were shooting at all. It felt like I was on holiday. The weather was beautiful and for most of the day we were allowed to explore the beautiful house and gardens. For lunch, the crew had set up a little picnic table with sandwiches and cupcakes for everyone. When we were actually shooting, we did a whole range of different things. I had to run around a pond, sit on the bonnet of a car, walk a dog, play a trumpet, and hold a tea party. It felt like a massive party!
We spent two days shooting and then we had a morning to ourselves before we took the plane home again. We took a boat out to an island and had lunch there. It was amazing!
When it was time to go home, I was so upset. I knew I had been so lucky to get the job and that it was a huge privilege. I was really grateful for the opportunity and I couldn't believe all the fun that I had had.
