NEWSFLASH!

Apologies for not posting in ages, everything seems to have been really crazy just now. Since I last posted, it's been pretty quiet on the modelling front, but I've still managed a couple of bits here and there.

The pictures have just gone up for a job I did at the beginning of December for the Littlewoods campaign, 'New Year New You'. It was a really fun job and I got to pose head to toe in Nike! I didn't do a great deal of pictures but the ones I did came out really nicely. It's always lovely to see a nice picture of you up on a big website like Littlewoods! It had been quite difficult to get one of the pictures, as I had to jump and the photographer had to take it so that I was in the air; not pulling a stupid face; or making the clothes look awful! When it takes longer than you expect to get a picture done, it's sometimes hard to remember that it's not necessarily your fault, there are loads of things that need to be right before they can take a great picture. When they did get it, they were really pleased with it and it felt amazing to know that you had done alright and that the crew had got what they wanted.
Updates
These ones wont be used!!!

Just before Christmas, my sister and I had to have our update photos taken for our agency. Updates need taking every year so that a client knows exactly what you look like, i.e. if you have had a hair cut or your face has changed a lot since last year. My mum decided to make a mini break out of it as my sister had a casting in London that weekend too. We stayed in London and had a great time visiting the Christmas markets, shopping, and seeing the lights. When it was time to get the photos done, we walked to the studio and met with the photographer and manager who we've met with before. We both had to wear a plain white top and jeans, so that anyone looking at our pictures isn't drawn to any logos, prints, or beads that we are wearing. Both of us had our hair done nicely, but naturally. It is really important to keep your hair quite natural for your update shoots because this is what the client expects to see on a job. If you had your hair curled for your pictures, every job/casting you do, you will have to curl your hair. We had the pictures done: one close up, one full length, and a couple of ones together, to go on our profiles. It was great fun and my new pictures look really different to my old ones - I look so much older!
